The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease

Chronic Viruses Cause Most Major Diseases

Most cases of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, and many other chronic diseases are caused by an infection with a common latent or chronic virus.  Some of these viruses are the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Herpes Simplex virus (HSV), Varicella Zoster virus (VZV), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and others. These viruses are genetic parasites. During their latent phase, they take genetic resources from the cell, and in high concentrations, starve the human genes, which forces the human genes to behave as if they have been mutated.

This discovery has important implications.  It suggests that we can cure and even prevent these diseases by targeting the latent viruses in our system.

Antiviral Nutritional Supplement

Inspired by the discovery of the effect of latent viruses on our genes, the biotech company polyDNA, Inc., developed a new, broad range, all natural, antiviral supplement, called Gene-Eden, that targets viruses during their latent or chronic phase.

OUR MISSION

To advance the research on the biology of chronic disease and accelerate the discovery of a cure for chronic disease

"When we understand nature, chaos turns into order, fear into confidence, and disease into health." -Hanan Polansky, from the book: Microcompetition with Foreign DNA and the Origin of Chronic Disease
